We all know those people who just take it too far. But what do you do when a guest is way too drunk at your holiday party? If the person is causing problems, stop serving them. Simply take them aside, and in private, explain that you think they have had enough. Of course, don’t let the person drive home. Try to recruit a friend or family member to take them home. If this isn’t possible, call a cab. If you are comfortable with the person, feel free to offer them the couch. Do not let them drive home.
Conversely, always be aware of how much you are drinking at a party. You never want to be a bother to anyone.
