We all know that holiday shopping can be stressful. Do yourself and everyone around you a favor by following these rules.
- Start early! Save yourself a lot of time and energy.
- Leave the kids at home. If you must bring them, make sure they are rested and bring a snack along with you.
- Smile. If you are in a bad mood, fake it. It will make you feel better anyway.
- Drive safely. Don’t lose your cool. Bring along a favorite CD for the ride.
- Be courteous. Wherever you are, the same rules apply. Help is first come, first served. Lines move one person at a time. Be ready when you reach the front of the line, and greet the clerk in a friendly manner.
- If you have a complaint, find the manager. Don’t scream at the innocent high school stock boy.
Have a positive attitude, don’t sweat the small stuff, and have fun!
