Don’t deck the halls yet

We know. You love the holidays. You’ve been planning your holiday décor since July and you can’t wait to see the faces of friends and family as they stop by to ogle your award-winning nativity scene.  However, it is important that you hold out until the appropriate time to decorate.  Generally, the accepted start date is the day after thanksgiving.

The holidays are stressful enough for people without you chattering on about your singing Santa.  Enjoy autumn while it lasts.  Don’t rush the winter holidays.  You want people to enjoy your holiday display, not be sick of it by the time the holidays arrive!

Also, remember, sometimes less is more. Why not consider eliminating the giant lawn inflatables this year?
