We all know those people who just can’t take a hint. Most of the party guests left hours ago, but you still have one or two on the couch, tossing back beers, unaware of the ticking clock. NEVER be one of those people.
When you receive an invitation, look to see if there is an end time for the party. If there it, keep it in mind. Most parties, however, do not have end times. Pay attention to the host, when they start clearing the bar and putting away food, it’s usually time to go.
When you are the host, save yourself from worry and always remember to specify dates when extending an invitation for a prolonged stay to a friend or family member. “I would love it if you visited from Friday to Monday. I hope you can make it.”
